“Una volta realizzammo un evento sull’acqua. Eravamo tutti alle Maldive in occasione delle nozze di un celebre personaggio della Formula1 e ci venne chiesto di stupire gli ospiti con qualche “effetto speciale”. Immaginatevi allora care spose, un pianoforte che compare dal mare su una piattaforma galleggiante, proprio come in quella nota pubblicità… Ma il bello è stato che quella volta, alle Maldive era tutto vero.”

 

Una cerimonia religiosa o civile senza musicaè come una splendida città deserta.

Anche noi ci siamo chiesti quanto conti e quanto sia importante nel nostro evento avere una buona “colonna sonora”, che sia il filo conduttore delle nostre emozioni e questa volta lo abbiamo chiesto a Mariangela Ungaro, professionista di Milano, componente del gruppo Stardustgroup e membro della squadra The Bridal Day:

Ciao Mariangela, quanto è importante la musica in un matrimonio?

La Cerimonia religiosa deve esaltare la sacralità del gesto che si sta compiendo, e la musica deve approfondire, connotare tutto ciò con scelte mirate e la massima qualità. In chiesa si crea la magia?

Sì, cantare in Chiesa è come una magia, per me è naturale, esprimo tutta me stessa.

È meglio un repertorio classico o si può variare?

Il repertorio può essere classico (Bach, Wagner, Mendelssohn, Albinoni,Schubert sono spesso eseguiti) ma alcune coppie scelgono anche musiche più varie, con inflessioni al gospel e alla musica dal film. Anche i canti da chiesa tradizionali possono essere meravigliosi, basta solo fare la giusta composizione, il giusto arrangiamento, e assumeranno toni da musica colta di alta qualità.

Quello che conta a mio avviso è la passione con cui si lavora, con cui si fa arte, perché solo così qualsiasi scelta stilistica risulta ben fatta. Che tipo di formazione usi e ti come posizioni?Tenete conto della Chiesa: in una Chiesa piccola, una romantica “bomboniera”, va bene anche l’ensemble piccolo (armonium, flauto, violino, voce) , mentre se amate il coro gospel, cercate una Chiesa moderna e spaziosa, si presta meglio, per ragioni acustiche oltre che per il repertorio an plein air a voci spiegate. La posizione migliore per il musicista è sul lato, per vedere bene che cosa succede e regolare i tempi degli interventi musicali.

 

È in caso di una cerimonia civile?

 

La cerimonia civile ha una libertà di tempi e sonorizzazione decisamente più grande rispetto alla cerimonia religiosa. Il repertorio può variare moltissimo, anche se è bene avere una certa coerenza degli interventi musicali. I momenti in cui la Musica è presente sono sicuramente l’entrata dello sposo, poi della sposa (o entrata simultanea della coppia), dopo il consenso e lo scambio degli anelli. È possibile, anzi molto interessante e commovente, sonorizzare le poesie che vengono lette dopo le firme, generalmente da parte di cari amici o parenti, dediche personali, o poesie di Gibran. La musica avvalora la lettura, le parole. Per questo generalmente suono pezzi di grande letteratura pianistica in sottofondo, oppure chiedo agli sposi quale musica o canzone è per loro particolarmente significativa. Non è necessario utilizzare le marce nuziali della tradizione, è possibile anche scegliere una suggestiva musica per film. E per questo abbiamo esempi illustri.

 

Ultima domanda: si pagano i diritti per la musica eseguita?No, La SIAE non si paga né per la cerimonia religiosa, né per quella civile.
